MCCB FALL 2011 MEETING on October 21 & 22 at the main (downtown) campus of Lansing Community College

The conference will take place in the HHS (Health & Human Services) building on the garden (bottom) level. The Friday evening keynote address will be in the Gannon Building (GB 134), which is just behind HHS.  Click here to view a short video of HHS.

 Hotel information. The deadline for booking at the reduced hotel rate is October 1.

 Map of the LCC campus (click on the Main Campus pushpin to view the campus map. HHS is     building # 4 on the map and Gannon is # 9). Parking is free in the Gannon Ramp (#5 on the map). You will need to drive down Grand Avenue (it is one-way) to access the parking ramp after 5:00pm on Friday and all day Saturday.  For driving directions to LCC and the parking ramp, click here.

Parking update [posted Oct 11]: Folks attending the Pearson Technology Training on Friday from 1-5 pm will have to pay for parking before 5pm, but there are meters all around campus to use.  They can also use the Gannon Ramp, but will have to pay if they use it before 5pm.

   Pearson Higher Education Workshop. Innovations in Teaching: Improving Outcomes through Technology. Instructors interested in attending this workshop must register separately for the workshop. The registration form is on-line at the Pearson website. The agenda for the workshop is also on their website. The workshop is on Friday from 12 - 5 PM, with lunch provided by Pearson for those who attend the workshop.
